Connie Wright, President

After many years of working in the dental and food service professions, Connie now enjoys working out of her home doing sewing and alterations. She is active in her church and enjoys dancing, singing, hiking, and other outdoor activities when she has a bit of free time. She has lived in Buena Vista for 36 years.
Lee Dodge, Secretary

Lee has been dancing for quite a while, learning contra, country-western, and waltz while living in Texas. He moved to Salida in 2010, and has been active with AVMAD ever since. In addition to dancing, Lee enjoys kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, and astrophotography. He also volunteers at the Salida Boys & Girls Club.
Donna Rosentrater, Treasurer

Donna moved
to Buena Vista in 2010. She finds the
community warm and welcoming encouraging participation from all who live
here. Before moving to Buena Vista, she
lived in Greeley, Colorado since 1976 where she worked for a financial
institution until she retired in 2006.
Donna and a housemate bought a house in May, 2012.
She has three younger sisters and 8 nieces and nephews spread throughout the United States. She loves to knit and dance. She works part-time at the Adventure Unlimited Ranches.

Susan Axe

Originally born and raised in Southern California, Susan moved to Buena Vista, Colorado in 1994. Raising two boys to manhood, working at a Young Life Facility and now as a full-time Dental Assistant has been her endeavor. She was introduced to Contra Dancing 5 years ago and has been a contra enthusiast ever since. Her dance experience includes waltz, country western, balloom/round waltz and tap. Her 'job' in supporting AVMAD is keeping our Facebook page filled with current dancing & musical opportunities. Hope you'll 'like' our page!
