ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING BUENA VISTA COMMUNITY DANCE
After studying and discussing the many issues involved with beginning the Buena Vista Community Dances again, unfortunately, it has been decided that it would be best to wait to resume our live band dances until the fall of 2022.. We had really hoped to find some ways to make things work out. But we want to thank those of you who took the time to respond to the survey that was sent.
Please continue to check the AVMAD website, and we will let you know if plans change due to county health guidelines, etc.
Stay well and do some activities to stay connected with the music and dance, too!

About Us

Find us now at arkvalleymusicanddance.org instead of avmad.org!
We promote & organize educational events for the joy of community dancing and live music for dance in the upper Arkansas Valley. We envision our community as even healthier, happier, & brighter as each person participates daily in music and dance. We started running events in 2004 and have been a 501(c)3 non-profit since 2007.
Our events include contra dances, country-western dances, swing and waltz classes, old-time music jams, and weekend festivals.
Check out our Calendar for a complete list of these and other related area events.
We are a non-profit group affiliate of Country Dance and Song Society (CDSS), a national organization committed to "continuing the traditions, linking those who love them." Check out their website!
